Tom Langmyer is President & Chief Executive Officer of Great Lakes Media Corp.
A broadcast veteran, he served for nearly a decade as Vice President & General Manager of Tribune's WGN Radio in Chicago.
He was also Vice President & General Manager of WTMJ and WKTI in Milwaukee - and was National Vice President, News/Talk/Sports Programming for the Scripps Radio Division.
Before moving to Chicago, Langmyer was Vice President & General Manager of CBS Radio's KMOX in St. Louis and Vice President, Programming for CBS Radio's News/Talk Stations Group.
Langmyer's background also includes advising on hands-on consulting for broadcasting companies throughout the U.S. He has worked with stations from New York to stations in small markets. He works in an advisory role with several local broadcasters in the areas of business operations, strategic planning, sales, content, digital strategies, and marketing. His focus involves a directed local approach to the business.
He was named on of Radio’s Top 25 Leaders” in 2023 by RadioInk Magazine and was inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2018. In 2015, Langmyer was awarded the NAB/RAB Radio Wayne Award, as “General Manager of the Year.”
While at WGN, he was named “General Manager of the Year” by Radio & Records.
He has also been recognized numerous times for his work as a top corporate executive, programmer and general manager by several top industry publications and organizations.
Langmyer currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors for The Alliance for the Great Lakes and the Buffalo Broadcasters Association. He serves on the Steering Committee for the National Radio Hall of Fame, is a member of the Country Music Association and serves on the Alumni Council at Grove City College in Pennsylvania.
An author, Langmyer wrote the book Lake Erie: History and Views, a non-fiction work, which was published in 2010.
A native of Buffalo, New York, he holds a bachelor’s degree from Grove City College.
Langmyer and his wife Mary reside in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin and Orchard Park, New York.
Ed Nolan is Chief Financial Officer of Great Lakes Media Corp.
Prior to joining Great Lakes Media, Ed served as Senior Vice President - Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Greater Media, Inc. for more than 13 years.
In this role, he oversaw numerous successful M&A transactions including asset purchases, stock acquisitions, and like-kind exchanges; while also displaying the discipline required to walk away from potential transactions when appropriate.
He also successfully managed multiple asset sales, including separate exit transactions for the company’s radio broadcasting, cable television, newspaper and tower properties.
Nolan served on the Board of Directors of the Media Financial Management (MFM) Association as well as the Radio Music Licensing Committee (RMLC).
He began his 27-year career with Greater Media as its Director of the Internal Audit, and subsequently served as Cable Division Controller, Cable Division Vice President-Finance, and Vice President - Business Operations prior to assuming the CFO role.
Nolan is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
A native of Wall Township, New Jersey, Nolan received his B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a major in accounting.
He currently resides in Beaufort, South Carolina with his wife Christina.
Mitch Dolan is Chief Operating Officer of Great Lakes Media Corp.
Before joining Great Lakes Media in 2019, he was Chief Operating Officer, Radio & Outdoor for Times-Shamrock Communications.
He previously was Principal for Audio Path, LLC.
Dolan is well-known for his leadership at ABC Radio, where he served as President of the ABC Radio Station Group.
His rise through the ranks at ABC Radio began at WPRO and WPRO-FM in Providence, where he was President & General Manager. Dolan was later promoted to President & General Manager roles at WABC and WPLJ in New York. His responsibilities included leading the ABC-owned radio stations, ESPN and Radio Disney in all major markets; including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, San Francisco, Dallas, Detroit, Atlanta and Minneapolis.
He is a highly respected media executive with a strong leadership track record of developing and realigning major-market broadcast organizations, executing station turnarounds, consistently outperforming marketplace competitors and creating event-based audience, revenue and digital growth opportunities.
Dolan has served as Chairman of NYMRAD in New York, the Executive Board of the New York State Broadcasters Association and he has held board positions for the Radio Advertising Bureau, Nielsen’s Advisory Council, and the Partnership for a Drug Free America in New York.
A native of Goshen, New York, Dolan holds a B.A. degree from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, New York. He and his wife Fran reside in New Canaan, Connecticut.
